Everyone expect a job, dream job and off course perfect job once
completion of studies. But reality is little or better to say far
difference. Getting a job is very difficult off course not always.
Someone with talents and can show to the employers not a matter to
manage a job. People with experience also not a problem to manage a
job. The difficulty started after completing the studies is all the
Employers are searching experienced people whereas fresh student how
to gather experience without starting a job. Applying so many places
and not getting any call is most frustrated situation. Everyone is
hoping a job once completion of studies and off course its natural.
But its not that much easy one can dream while study. One must be
ready with cutting edge technology to compete in job market. IT
Industry requirements are changing rapidly. So, for getting a job is
important to fit with the requirements.
One more problem with requirement, there are so many branches in IT
sector. No one can be master of all. Employers asking with different
skill set. We cannot blame them because they needed people from the
define skills. But what to do with Employee, need to get a job and
not possible to cover all the skill set. In this case, my opinion is
Employer can consider some of those skills.
As a job seeker with hard work too I found it is very difficult to
manage as a fresher graduate. Once you have experience these will not
longer.
Having experience also not possible to find a new job. Because one
might be experience with some expertise and experience, but employer
is asking some different requirements. One more thing, work of
organization is different. For example, I have worked with some tools
that are not using other organization.
So, overall view of job market it is not quite easy to find a job,
dream job, perfects job. And maximum cases one need to starting a
job, which one is not, expected job but for demand of job one must
start. Then changing the track of job is not easy. It is risky also
changing the job track and maximums time no one-take risk for
changing the track. Though he/she might not be satisfied with job one
need to carry on.
As a job seeker my opinion is Employer should give some consideration
for employee. So that finally one could achieve his/her dream job or
at least expected job. It is very important for individual as well as
Employer. Because doing a job with dissatisfaction one must not able
to give the full input or maximum value for organization. This will
decrease the productivity of Employer. Individual perspective it is
important in his/her personal and social life affects one other part
of life from job. Because 1/3 of our life times we spent in office or
some work place.
We need to have a look on these issues so that some point of these
could be normalized.
